Mom's Christmas present 09

I couldn't post these previously cos Mom has access to my blog and I didn't want to give away her surprise. I made these from clear ornaments, glitter, vinyl and some nail art. :D

Christmas cards galore!!!!

Since most everyone is starting to receive Christmas cards, I thought it would be ok to go ahead and post the ones I made this year for myself, my mom and my sister. I had a lot of fun making them and later, I'll post the gifts I made as well---which were sooooooooooo much fun!!!

I used Cricut, SCAL, cuttlebug, rub-ons and stamps. Each came with coordinating envelopes.

Cb folders!!

I just received some new embossing folders and am really looking forward to the cards I can make with them. Some are from Sizzix and some are from Cuttlebug. I am so stoked.
Also, my mom said she will try to come over to my house and 'play' with me in my crafts. Weeeeeeeee!!!!

I made this for a girlfriend who has had a rough time lately. The stamped image is from Rubber Romance.

I've made a bunch of Christmas cards and am working on gifts, but since many of you who can read this will be getting some of these, I can't post them til after the holiday.....otherwise, I ruin the surprise!!!

Been away

We went to MD for Thanksgiving and since we've been back, I have been busy with Christmas cards and gifts. Unfortunately, Chris has not added the camera program to the new computer yet, so I can't upload any of my completed work. Luckily, I have taken pictures cos I have to deliver some of it tomorrow. Pics soon---I hope. :D

Freezer T's

A T shirt for Katie's birthday and a T shirt for Ainsleigh--affectionately referred to 'Ainzilla' by her mommy. Neither are perfect by any means, but I like 'em.

Family and cleaning

I spent the day at my Mom's to help clean up around the yard and help her empty out some buildings. Since Dad passed in June, she has been trying to clear out a lot of unnecessary junk that had just been laying around. Most of my sisters were there and many nieces. It was a full day and sadly, we filled the rented dumpster almost completely full before the day was through!!
We are far from done, but too close to tired, so tomorrow I will share a few goodies I've been working on. I've spent the evening looking over some old photos we came across and now it's bedtime. Chris and I are both pooped!!!

Card gift set

I'd spent the last two days working on an all occasions card set for a gift. I still have to add the sentiments (or maybe I won't and let them chose) but I am really proud of what I have done.

My first tshirt!!!

Her it is---in all it's glory!!!

The "LOVE" is all glittery, though you can barely tell it. I had a bunch of fun doing this and hope to get out today or tomorrow to pick up a couple more shirts for gifts. TFL!!!

Wall hanging

I made a wall hanging for my 5 year old niece, Morgan. She likes rock & roll, hello kitty and sparkles. The "M" is made of chipboard and then covered in glittered paper. I added all the embellishments. I then added hooks in the back, so she could hang it on her wall. I hope she likes it.

To redeem myself

Here is a card I made for my honey, even though I had to tell him what it said. ;P
It's definitely more refined than my niece's card! JK!!!

Laney's card

Ok, first, I am so proud of my niece, Laney. She is super smart and a good kid. She got a great report card from school and has improved so much on NOT talking in class (which she obviously gets from her dad).
I wanted to make her a card and send it to her to tell her how proud I am. That was the first order of business now that my craft room is unpacked. When I showed it to Chris, however, he got a little tickled. He said it looked like I was so excited to have my stuff back that I threw a little bit of everything on it. :(

Sadly, I think he's right. But she's only in the first grade, so I'm hoping that she won't be too critical!!!

A little busy, huh? Teehee. Better luck next time, I guess!!

uggghhhh

I intended to work on a congrats card for a niece today and then work on some scrapbooking. I ended up working in the lawn and then headed to the track to watch hubby race. Chilly night. So, now I am tired and headed to bed. I'll get my items done tomorrow and post up.

Where are my skittles??????

I have spent most of the evening UNpacking all of my craft stuff and have most of it situated. However, my huge box of skittles and sparkles have disappeared. I'm lost without them!!!

New creations coming soon!!!

House Warming gift

I made this over a year ago for a girlfriend's birthday, but wasn't able to catch up with her. Then, she bought a house and sent a house-warming invite, so I thought this would be a great gift anyway. I used multiple carts from Cricut for the cuts as well as prima flowers and rhinestones. I also used Prismacolor pencils to lightly shade in the picture of her. I was really proud of this and am looking forward to making similar items for other friends and family.

Staying home

After a few months of house hunting, we have decided to take a break until spring rolls out again. Since this is the case, I can happily begin reconstructing my craft room---which was disassembled (no disassemble!) for the move to a new house. I've been chomping at the bit without my stuff!!!

So, I decided just for fun, I would post my most recent items before the deconstruction began. As with anything I do, if you're interested in what I used, please just ask. I don't post that stuff unless I get a lot of requests for it. I know mostly, folks just wanna see what I made.

Thanks for poppin by!!
