Various birthday cards

I needed to catch up on some birthdays, so I made up the ones you see here.  I had folks in mind when I made them, though I just happened to make them all at one time --VERY unusual for me!!

My Christmas gift

My sweetie bought me a new toy for Christmas.  He bought me an adjustable pen/marker holder from Amy Chomas and it works with my cutting machine.  It is SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome.  It expands what I can do with my cutter without having to buy the expensive name brand --and LIMITED colors--- markers.  Here is a link to Amy's site http://amychomas.blogspot.com/ and below is my first attempt with my new toys.  I used two different colors of her mini gel pens in the adjustable holder and SCAL for the font I wanted.  The butterfly was a punch.  I just used a scoring pad for the lines.

Hospital stay

Made this simple little 'get-well' card for a friend who landed in the hospital.  Hope it helped to cheer the day.

Thank You set

I saw a similar card a while back and thought it was so simple and elegant.  I had most of the bits needed to recreate the card (with my own twist, of course) and this is what I came up with.  Hard to mail, though, because the flowers are pretty thick.  These I generally just hand out or send with a package.

Never enough Thank You's

Since my husband was diagnosed with cancer in Aug 2011, we have had a tremendous outpouring of support and help.  So, I have spent my time split between taking care of him and making 'thank you' cards for all of the help and support we have been blessed to receive.  Here is one of those such cards.

Happy Birthday!

Birthday card for one of my nieces who turned 9.  A little 'girlie' for her, but she still likes pink and it had her name on it, so I think that made up for the flowers. : )

Catching up on Christmas

I made these coasters as a Christmas present.  Super easy and got the tutorial from the following blog:  Frosted Glass Coasters

Christmas Tshirts

I made these T shirts for two of my nieces for Christmas.  They both are into Monster High and anything with girlie skulls, so I took the skull logo from MH and made these with rhinestones.  From what I hear, they went over really well.
