25th anniversary of your 25th birthday

This card was for my friend's 50th birthday and I used the following sentiment "Happy 25th Anniversary....of your 25th birthday!"  She was tickled with it and that made me happy.

Wedding card

I had these two A Muse stamps and thus my wedding card was born.  :)  I used rub-ons for the arrow and the sentiment.

More thank you's

We've had a lot of cause to give thanks lately so I have been pretty busy making them, but not so much on posting them.  So, here is where I play catch up.  As always, if you have any questions about anything I used, please just let me know.

Thank you and Sympathy

Here I used the same paper for two different cards.  I really like this paper and the thought of putting it in my scrap drawer caused minor anxiety (jk!) so I went ahead and used it up for these two.  I was inspired by similarly made cards on other blogs, but as with most crafters, once I got started, they each kinda took on their own life.  I used my new Memory Box die called Whimsy Circle on the 'thank you' card.  It's really nice, but does work better when I use the Cheery Lynn metal adapter plate, called the Cuttlehug.

A-Muse make and take

I went to an A-Muse open house the other day and had such a great time.  Here is my make and take from that day, all A-Muse items.  They have some great products that I would love to add to my collection, but alas...life gets in the way, namely bills and mortgages.  :-P  If you would like more information on A-Muse, PM me and I'll connect you to my rep who is AWESOME!!

Halloween Hellos

I have an acquaintance that is in Afghanistan right now, so I made him up a goodie box and am sending it out along with this card.  It should get there right before Halloween, so I hope he is able to enjoy the treats I am sending along. It's a Stampin Up stamp set and various cardstock.

thankyouthankyouthankyou

This card is for our Mayor, who has kindly come by our house twice now to mow our lawn since Chris is limited in what he can do.  The rhinestones make it a little feminine, but when I was making it, I goofed and had to 'adjust'.  :-P  I like how it turned out and will probably return to this design again in the future.  I used SCAL for the layered frame set.

Mommy's birthday

My mom loves green, so each year I try to come up with a new design using a various shade of green.  Here is this year's card.  I used Nesties to cut out the circles and my cutter with SCAL to cut out the flowers.

Cuttlebug cutouts

I made this birthday card by embossing it with a Cuttlebug folder, then used a craft knife to cut out some of the embossed areas.  Then I placed a piece of yellow cardstock behind the image and viola!!  Nothing new, but new to me.

Flowery birthday

Here is another birthday card for sister #3.  I stamped the flower image and then cut it out then popped it up.  Trying to broaden more horizons by trying different techniques.  I also used a Cuttlebug folder and a Nestie for the 'happy birthday' background.

Fur-ever

A girlfriend and her husband lost their Retriever recently and it has taken it's toll on the family.  I made this card to hopefully lighten her heart some and give her a little comfort.

Monogrammed Birthday

I tried something new for a birthday card...I made this for my sister and I made it with her monogram, so that, unlike a typical birthday card that gets put away quickly, this was something she could keep up for a while.  :-D  Of course, that doesn't mean that she did!!  The black damask design was flocked so that added a little extra to it, I think.

Missing you

I helped my niece make this card for her family while she was visiting extended family over the summer.  I thought it was super cute, but I might be partial!

Been a while...lots going on

I know it's been a while since I posted anything, but I have made a few things.  My husband and I have had some changes in life which has kept us busy.  Now, I'm gonna try and do some catching up!
Here is a card I made for my brother for his birthday.  I think the inside reads:  What happened???  But I honestly can't remember.  (bad sister, I know!)

Personalized notecards

I made a set of these as a bonus to the last order I filled.  Something about a personalized notecard that really tops off the day!!

Greetings to the north!

I haven't made a card for Chris' folks in a while so I made them the following.  I thought something sweet and pretty would be a welcome change.  Way outside of my comfort zone, but I felt encouraged to make more in a similar manner but already posted them.  :D

Birthday of an Angel

Made this card for a girlfriend.  I've been trying to spend more time catching up on my cards and tshirt designs....just been soooooo stinking busy lately!!!

Newest order set to go!!

Had an order for mostly birthday cards, but a few others and this is what I came up with.  Had fun and am branching out by adding more depths to my cards.  All by either stamping, embossing or using my Inkscape and SCAL.

Customized T-shirt

This shirt I used by making a rhinestone template and then utilizing the colors of Karen's car.  I send it to her as a surprise 'thank you' for all the help she has been giving behind the scenes.  She seemed pretty tickled with it.  The last photo is a picture of her car, to give you an idea of what I meant by 'customized'.

Playing around

So, I had a friend from the car forum to send me some vector art that he had worked on.  The below is what I came up with.  I sent this card to another forum member as a birthday card.  The last picture is of that forum member's car.

Sisterly love

My youngest sister resides in Hawaii (tragic, I know) and has been feeling a little down lately.  Soooooooooooo, I made her a card in hopes of lifting her spirits.  Regular rubber stamps and my paper trimmer were all that I used, except for the envelope, which I used the PS cart for.  Lucky for me, it worked!

Rainy thanks

I made this card for a friend who mentioned she would try to send some of their rain my way.  Very next day it rained.
I actually used one of my carts for the 'thanks' (GBS) and hand cut the rain gear the little girl is wearing.  I then used another piece of cs to make the envelope...and it just happened to match!!  Just a fun, simple card.

Kitty card

To go along with Laney's Hello Kitty shirt, I made her this card.  I kinda like it.  :D  Made with Inkscape and cut with SCAL1.

Lizard's card

One of my nieces celebrated her birthday recently and this is the card I came up with for her.  I like the easel cards, cos it allows you to see the interior message.  I will have to make more of these.

About Me

My photo
I'm a wife to a silly man and we have a house full of furry animals. I wouldn't have it any other way.
